Long ago and far away I was a developer for SPSS Inc (now the core of IBM Analytics.)
Then I moved to the Mathematics and Computer Science Division of Argonne National Laboratory to work in the Futures Lab. While there I helped found the Access Grid.
Then I moved to the Distributed Systems Lab and worked with members of the Globus Alliance on issues related to distributed systems and Globus Software. Past work included producing the Globus Toolkit 4.0 release, co-authoring a book on GT4, and talking with users of distributed computing technology to learn more about their requirements. Recent work focused on co-founding a high-performance file transfer service called Globus Online.
This August I joined the Argonne Leadership Computing Facility as Technical Development Lead. Details forthcoming once I get up-to-speed.
